Three options for shot 1. Silent, unedited, no captions burned in. Same 8 seconds the ad opens on.
John's note: “The opening clip looks like we are in the vaping industry. Maybe something with some more sun adulation to start, outside or a walk with a dog.”
He's right, and the reason is specific: the current shot is indoors with dust motes drifting in a light beam — backlit particles in a shaft of light is the visual signature of vape advertising. It also works against the voiceover, which says “how important sunlight is for your health” while we look at someone standing in a house.
Current — replace
Indoor sunbeam
Woman in a sunbeam indoors, dust motes in the light.
The particles are the problem. Also: no actual sun.
Option A — recommended
Morning dog walk
Tree-lined street, real backlit sun, golden retriever. At ~5s she lifts her face to the sun and smiles.
John's suggestion literally, and it does both jobs: establishes an ordinary outdoor life and lands the sun-adulation beat. Lower third stays clear for the caption.
Option B
Garden, face to the sun
Tight close-up, coffee in hand, eyes closed toward the sunlight.
The purest “sun adulation” of the three and emotionally the warmest. Costs you context — it's all face, so it says less about whose life this is.
